Allepey- Cochin (95 km/2.5 hours) Check out of the hotel. Drive to Cochin and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

Take a sightseeing tour of Munnar and visit the Tata Tea Museum (closed on Monday) and Eravikulam National Park (park is closed for breeding season in Jan-Feb). Later in the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and dam. Enjoy the echo phenomenon at the famous Echo Point. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Munnar - Thekkady by car (110 kms/4 hrs) Today, leave for Thekkady. Check-in at the hotel, unpack and relax. In the evening, go explore Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. You can also visit the theatre and enjoy the traditional Kathakali show (in a non-air-conditioned theatre, pay directly at venue). Indulge in shopping (own expense), take a tour around the spice plantations or enjoy an elephant ride (on direct payment basis) in the evening. Return to the hotel.
Thekkady - Kovalam by car (210 kms/5 hrs) In the morning, depart for Kovalam. On the way you may stop at Trivandrum to visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Aazhimala Shiva Temple Napier Museum and Zoological Park (closed on Monday). Later, continue towards Kovalam.

Kovalam - Allepey by car (175 kms/5 hrs) Today, leave for Allepey. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the evening, go for a boat cruise ride on the backwaters for an hour (cost not included) or you can visit Alleppey Beach. Return to the hotel.
Allepey - Cochin (86 kms/2.5 hrs) Today, proceed towards Cochin airport/railway station for your onward journey.
